QSU Special Projects

Queer Collective
Starting in 2021, QSU created the Queer Collective Newsletter. The vision is to create an authentic, conscious, inspiring, and safe place for LGBTQ+ individuals. We wanted to create a newsletter that inspires, educates, and guides you about all things queer at Indiana University Bloomington. We hope to show our readers that there is a space in our community for every one of them. It features everything from news, music, media, and any QSU and IUB updates.

All-Gender Restroom Inclusion Project
The All-Gender Restroom Inclusion Project (AGRIP) has collected data about nearly every public single-occupant restroom on the IUB campus, as well as data about the experiences of individuals using those restrooms. The project has created a map using the data to make all-gender restrooms easier to find and seeks to further integrate this map into various IU systems to make it easier to use and keep it updated. The existence and accessibility of single-occupant, all-gender restrooms and shower rooms are critical to the mental and physical safety of gender diverse students, including transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming students.
